Our Partners at CIS just emailed us about their need in Holiday Assistance for some of the low-income families they serve. Here is the email:
We are seeing a huge need this year for Holiday Assistance to our families and are doing an organization 
wide drive to provide our families with HEB and Wal Mart gift cards so that they can purchase small gifts, food, household items or even gas to help them get to and from work. As an agency we have over $12,000 in requests from our field staff for gift cards Holiday Assistance
We need to have all gift cards by December 8th. I want to wrap this up for them before I leave.

o the economic situation we are facing, many of the lower income families are feeling it the most. Let’s partner with them to help these families have a joy-filled Christmas.
